The Pumpkin and Fig Damper was a big hit yesterday.
The aluminium camp oven is doing such a good job that im not even using the cast iron here at the The Outdoor Living and Caravan Expo at Mornington Racecourse.
It's good to cook in but for me the main reason is the ease of cleaning. I just tip it upside-down and everything falls out. I love that. 👍

Karma wins!
Im just now back from signing a statement for the police.
They have told me that the offender attacked a young lady at a macdonalds just down the road 2 hours later and tried to take her car. But unfortunately for him a good Samaritan saw the incident unfolding and ran in to save the day. He held the offender until the police arrived to get him. However when the police arrived they decided that an ambulance might be a more suitable form of transport. The description the police gave me with some delight i might add was that he "had the sh#t punched out of him". And he is still in the hospital a day later.
Also he had only been released 48 hours ago. He must have got homesick 😆
